We planted seeds indoors for broccoli, brussels sprouts, red cabbage, cauliflower, spinach, and pink celery. We are trying new pots - they are designed for growing orchids, I think - they are 3" black plastic with open slats throughout the design. The idea here is that the seedlings will "air prune" themselves and resist becoming root bound in the pot, which will ease the transition when they are transplanted into the ground in several weeks. We'll see. We bought 100 pots through Amazon, but we will have more than 100 seedlings, so some seedlings will be started in the traditional cells.
